The video for J. Cole's Friday Night Lights, track 'In the Morning' featuring Drake is finally here. Cole just about managed to drop the video on his blog before Valentines Day was over - bless him. ANYWAYS... the most important thing is that the video is here. The feature is more of a documentary type visual. It captures them performing the track on their recent tour and follows a mysterious, but pretty lady. Cole told MTV:
He adds, "And just the magic of that tour. To give people a look into that."

Rihana is surely one female that is on top of her game. Since the release of LOUD and the change of hair colour from the Rated R black and gold to a radiant red, she's been on a huge floral and vibrant campaign. If you've noticed with RiRi every album seems to run with a theme. Now she's continuing the current theme with the launch of her first perfume, Reb'l Fleur. It's all in the name, the irony of being bad feeling good, one of the themes that runs through her latest album; this idea is also echoed in the advert. The fragrance exclusive to the US department store, Macy's captures the Caribbean in a bottle. It has fragrances of violets and hibiscus flowers with a 'splash' of coconut water. So that's something definitely smelling exotic. To bottle it all up in a real girly way, the female fragrance is in a bottle that looks like an upside down stiletto heel. Lady Gaga is still fairly new to be called a legend, but I still think she deserves the title. I mean come on, she has a humongous following and an extravagant character, so why the hell not call her a legend..? Give me one single reason !! She's also breaking records, and that's a reason of my own to justify my point. Her current single that shares the title of her upcoming third studio album, Born This Way has made iTunes history. HOW... by one million copies being sold within the first five days of it's release. She has her 'monsters' to thank for that -and that's just the first million that got it within the five days. To top that all off the track is #1 in over twenty-three countries. NOW... tell me that isn't some legend type stuff there !! The album is to be released in May, but lucky for her monsters the video for the first single will be here this week. The 24th to be precise. Can't wait !!

I's a veri simple cover design with her current style of type with her name and just simple capitalised text stating the obvious. The track features Chris Brownand the vibe of the track is just sexy and will have you vibing. It's definitely one for the weekend and for the iPod. Breezy kills his verse. A little over a month ago I dropped the preview for Lil' Kim's 'Black Friday' video. Well guess what - the pretty obvious, it's here now. IF YOU'RE... looking at that image to your right, that's the mixtape cover - also part of the whole 'black friday' diss !! It's a hit back at Nicki Minaj'sPink Friday album cover, with the whole Barbie look. Here the notorious K.I.M has the famous pink bob wig in a pool of blood and the cover is dark and gloomy in comparison to the playful pink Nicki has. OUCH !! Also, if you've heard about the 'free' mixtape that Queen Bee has for her fans. Free isn't really the word that should have been used to describe it as she apparently has been selling it on PayPal for $9.99. HONESTLY... I know she has fans that would've/ will purchase it regardless but for a comeback and in this day and age it's about going your fans something making them want an album. BACK TO THE VIDEO... It's all basically what I discussed in relating post prior to this one. Freshly premiered via Kanye West's VEVO channel is the video for 'All of the Lights'. FINALLY... the track featuring Rihannaand Kid Cudiwas featured on the end of his 'Runaway' video finally has it's own visual. Yet again Mr West has gone for some visually exiting but confusing stuff with the help of directed Hype Williams. The clip is a mixture of flashy neon text and clips of West, RiRi and Cudi individually. CONFUSION... for the first minute of the video there are some real beautiful shots, but you'll kind of be like WTF? and RELEVANCE? but of course it makes sense in due course. The other bit of confusion - unless you've done your research like moi, is that there are all these other stars names at the end of the track. These are some of the guest vocalists including: Alicia Keys,John Legend,The-Dream, Fergie, La Roux, Elton John,Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson and Tony Williams. YUP.... I agree that's a lot to take in. All of these stars vocals have been layered so it will be a lot of ear work to hear them all individually. I don't particularly celebrate Valentines Day, but I absolutely love my slow jams. I don't think you need a certain day to wine and dine with a lover or get down to special music !! BUT... my top 5 right here are definitely appropriate for the day. Check them out...
♥ 'Freek'n You': This is probably the track Jodeci are most known for - especially for the amateurs (no offence). From their third studio album, The Show, the After Party, the Hotel. This 1995 track that peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 is definitely certified to get things started.
♥ '25 Resons': has to be on this list. Representing the ladies, Nivea's 2002 hit from her self-titled debut album was a banger. Now this one's for the fellas, you better hope your woman this Valentines - unless she's just a date, is in love with you !!
♥ 'So Anxious': from Ginuwine back in 1999. The single from his second album, 100%Ginuwine peaked the Billboard Hot 100 at #16. Never mind the position it sat at though this track is a 100% set-the-mood type track. The lyrics, the tone and the production would make you want to do something really nasty nice !!
♥ 'Slow': From the multi-talented Jamie Foxx's third studio album, this track is oh so sexy. This number is a lyrical masterpiece, and my favourite cut from his 2008 album. Trust me on this one, he gave us 'Blame It' from this release and that's still spinning on the radio, so believe me when I say this track is a HOT ONE for this Valentines Day.
♥ 'My Boo': This duet from 2004 seems to have been forgotten in the world of R&B. The cut from Usher's fourth studio album Confessionswith the lovelyAlicia Keys is such a beautiful track. I don't know why it has disappeared. I haven't forgotten and that's why it has made my top 5 this Valentines Day.

Everybody that uses the Google search engine would know that they're famous for switching up the logo on particular days. SO... of course they've done it this special day and I'm totally loving it. As an ex-potential graphics designer I do have a keen eye for arty farty things. Today's special is inspired by the works of the eighty-two year old pop-artist Robert Indiana. You may link this design with his LOVE sculpture, the design of which has been used on US stamps and Christmas cards. And more recently in 2008 his 'HOPE' sculpture and designs for Obama's presidential campaign. SIMPLY... I think it looks very sweet. Google should keep it for the month I say !!
If there's a way to turn up to the biggest music awards ceremony, in style and bound to gain every ones attention; it's arriving by egg. YES... you read that right, if you haven't heard or seen already Lady Gaga travelled the red carpet via egg. Carried by five people and well body guarded the popstar made her unusual entrance. Gaga arrived in her 'space' egg that had an oxygen mask, and she apparently stayed in the egg until her performance of her new single, 'Born This Way'. She hatched from her egg and was left wearing not goo, but a yellow rain wear. The star left the 53rd annual award ceremony with 3 awards - so the whole oxygen and egg thing was worth it. MY VIEW... I think it's a brilliant way for her to promote her upcoming single and album, and a cool weird way to promote Easter eggs. She definitely outshone her outfit from last year, but has she exceeded our expectations or will she top this stint next year..? Check out more pictures when you read more. Rihanna is about to top the charts again with her latest single from the LOUD album, 'S&M'. The video directed by Melina Matsoukas(the lady responsible for Ludacris' 'Money Maker' video) is very fun, vibrant and of course raunchy !! Here we see RiRi as a party animal with that crazy Ronald McDonald wig she was wearing the other week. There's also a cameo from the queen of celebrity blogging Perez Hilton!! WHAT I THINK... it's a real cool video, and this Stargateproduced track is definitely going to climb the charts. Might even be another UK #1 for the star !! The fish eye camera lens that create those really zoomed in shots remind me very much of Pink's 2001 UK #2 video for 'Get This Party Started'. ANYWAYS... check out the hot new video, and enjoy...
