After weeks of contemplating, questioning and just racking our brains for the name of the murderer, BBCs Eastenders finally reveals to us that Stacey Slater killed Archie Mitchell. WOW.

I'm sure most of the country was in total shock as the prime suspects were deemed to be the adult Mitchell's to Ronnie's lover Jack Branning to his nephew Bradley to even suspects that haven't been in the show for over a year - Sean Slater. 

So everything was revealed at the last minute of the half hour show on Friday night at the normal time of 8PM. Having us - well me at least itching in my seat for 8.29PM to come to find out who did the dirty on Christmas day 2009.

The one-off live show, also celebrating the 25 years Eastenders has been on our teleboxes entertaining the nation was packed with mystery, nuttery, arguments and suicide. (Pretty much the norm for the fictional Eastend town.) The show pulled in about 16.6 million viewers last night, costing £500,000 and the use of 36 cameras (9x the usual 4).

With Charlie Clements who played Bradley Branning leaping to his death from the Queen Vics roof top to avoid being arrested by the police, now leaves mad wife Stacey Slater - played by Lacey Turner, a widow and a revealed muderer. 


The mystery has definately proved a hit, especially on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, where fans have been questioning each characters motives, leading to trending topics and many status updates a minute during each episode of the nations favourite soap !!

The year I don't actually watch the BRIT Awards seems to be the year it was actually good.
Hosted by our very own Peter Kay, at it's home in Earls Court. The night was filled with crazy colaberations and costumes.


Dirty Love Mashup

Though Cheryl Cole's vocals weren't up to scratch, the coreorgraphy was wicked.
She performed her single 'Fight For This Love', despite her current relationship troubles with husband Ashley Cole! It was then surprising mixed with Steve Angello's 'Show Me Love' during a breakdown in the song. As for the mashup, that was completely a shock I really liked it. It was actually my favourite part of the performance other than the really hot guy dancers. 

Then there was an amazing mashup called 'You Got The Dirty Love' with Dizzee Rascal & Florence Welsh. (Above.) I won't be surprised if Florence's fame shoots up rapidly after this colaberation!

You can't have an award ceremony without crazy outfits, and whom better to set of the night on starting on the red carpet other than Lady GaGa!  Gaga's acoustic routine was dedicated to her late great designer friend Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide last Thursday, in his London home. She ended it by scooping up 3 Awards.

Lilly Allen stepped out in a Channel black number, that looked very wicked witchy. I definitley weren't feeling her dress despite the hot brand. Despite her dress she picked up her first BRIT award. Whilst classical-popular singer Katherine Jenkins rocked a Britcentric dress designed by Alexander McQueen, which was beautifully suited for the occasion.

 The JLS guys looked sexy as usual all suited and booted, and picked up 2 awards by the end of the night! 

HOT DAMN !!

The night was jammed packed with other performances including: Robbie Williams & Lilly Allen. Here's Jay Z and Alicia Keys 'Empire State Of Mind'.

The video is yet again directed by Melina Matsoukas who directed her current single 'Hard' ft. Young Jeezy.

She admits that her inspiration of her video and style of dress are "very Jamaican dancehall queen type." You know how we get down in JA, wild and out, no shyness. Trust me I know !!

'Rudeboy' is the third single from the popstress fourth studio album 'Rated R' she told Q magazine that the song is:

"about the kind of street, bad boy that girls sometimes like. There's a danger and a swagger there."

Well she would know about badboys, and after all she is the official Good Girl Gone Bad !!

'Rudeboy' is to be premiered today, even though it is on the net.

It is to be released in the UK February 22nd. Only 11 days !!

PRICE & REID WED IN VEGAS..?

The Price of Las Vegas  

Word has it business and glamour model Katie 'Jordon' Price has wed her cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid, after going out for 7 months. Not long after Reid won Celebrity Big Brother with both of them declaring their love for each other live on national television the media hungry fiends only flew of to the states to get married. Why Vegas? Vegas is known for non-serious nuptials, remember Britney Spears Vegas marriage. This just sparks the question of how serious their relationship really is.
Katie being the magazine deal queen, I would have thought she would have gone for a massive wedding just to prove how much she loves her man. If she wanted it small scale a nice registry office would be pretty normal.
The couple stated:

"We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes."

It seems as it was all planned out. Alex has his new found fame from being in the house, whilst Katie's kudos were diminishing everyday he spent there. However a spokesperson tells that:

"Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other."

Well we'll have to see how that turns out as Alex has talked about his love of kids, and about wanting "two or three" of his own. in addition to Katie wanting a "big family".
