WELL... at the 53rd Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga was in a league of her own when it came to the red carpet looks, but what did the other celebs have to say for themselves..? Check them out by hitting that 'read more' button OBVIOUSLY !!  

Nicki Minaj decided to show of in a printed outfit. Very saucy, Grrrrr !! I mean that's the sound wild animals make right..?

Rappers Drake and B.o.B turned up with their lovely mothers, how sweet of them. Also they've dressed to impress and coordinated very well !!

Rihanna put on a long and very ruffled white number. While her best friend, Katy Perry and Ciara also went for long and flowing numbers. However, while theirs may have cuts and long slits, RiRi went for something a little more transparent !!

The Smith's turned up for their little singing sensation Willow Smith, but where's her brother..? Check out her platforms !!

Janelle Monae and Justin Bieber suited it out. Janelle looking super cool as usual and Justin in a very classy white tuxedo. Bielieb it or not he didn't scoop an award, bless his little cotton socks.

Lady Gaga Arrives Egg Style !!

If there's a way to turn up to the biggest music awards ceremony, in style and bound to gain every ones attention; it's arriving by egg. YES... you read that right, if you haven't heard or seen already Lady Gaga travelled the red carpet via egg. Carried by five people and well body guarded the popstar made her unusual entrance. Gaga arrived in her 'space' egg that had an oxygen mask, and she apparently stayed in the egg until her performance of her new single, 'Born This Way'. She hatched from her egg and was left wearing not goo, but a yellow rain wear. The star left the 53rd annual award ceremony with 3 awards - so the whole oxygen and egg thing was worth it. MY VIEW... I think it's a brilliant way for her to promote her upcoming single and album, and a cool weird way to promote Easter eggs. She definitely outshone her outfit from last year, but has she exceeded our expectations or will she top this stint next year..? Check out more pictures when you read more. BET Hip Hop Awards 2010: Cyphers

Hip Hop Award Cyphers...

If there was one thing that was really good about the BET Hip Hop awards, other than some of the live performances it had to be these cyphers you're about to view. Featuring some of the BEST Hip Hop artists of the moment, and a few that are on the verge of blowing up , these short clips are WICKED !! No word of a lie. My favourite is the one featuring members of Kanye West's, G.O.O.D Music label. In this video we got the likes of Common, Big Sean, CyHi Da Prynce and Pusha-T. Trust me, they all went in on this one. I also really liked this Cypher particular because it joint the old school with the new school. It features Ice Cube and Rev Run and their sons. Cube and Rev definitely still have it going on, all their sons did quite well, but my hat comes of for Diggy. This young'n is a serious star in the making. He totally impressed me, especially with the last bar !! What's so funny is in most the episodes of Runs House it was his older brother JoJo Simmons, who was always in the studio, but lil' bro has outshone him fo'sure !!  

Diamond went in on this Cypher I literally had to quote one of her bars on my Facebook status. Tyga, Royce Da 5'9 and Kuniva also went in on this, but Diamond was reppin' it for the ladies fo'real !!

Last but not least, we got Busta Rhymes presenting this Cypher featuring Reek Da Villain, Zawcain and Mickey Factz. WHOEVER... said Hip Hop was dead..? The future of Hip Hop right now is looking real bright !!

WHO DAT..? WHO DAT...? As soon as you here those words after the drop of the self produced track, you know who it is !! None other than new school rapper J. Cole. That track right there is a certified party starter, though the crowd weren't quite jumping as he performed it at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday night. WHY..? The crowd was serious focused on the lyrics, bobbing their heads and reciting the words as Mr Cole rapped. He wrapped it up nicely with the first verse, acapella of his track 'Blow Up' !! re's any young man that is really trying his best to redeem himself, it has to be Chris Brown !! MY he's definitely gonna blow up if his flow gets tighter, and one thing for sure he will and I'm routing for him. Check it out...

MTV VMA 2010

MTV VMA Spoliers (For The UK)

Every year the MTV VMA's are hyped and every year people complain what a let down it was. Yet we all, well most of us tune in just to see if it is fantastic or an absolute fail. WELL... I locked in to watch it with the millions of people in the US to watch the award ceremony hosted by Chelsea Handler in Los Angles. The show was okay, of course you would have heard already that Lady GaGa and Eminem were the darlings of the show, scooping up most the awards. HOWEVER... I really don't want to spoil anything for my UK people. Luckily MTV isn't holding back. The show will be aired tonight at 9pm with the pre-show aired an hour before, at 8pm. Breezy Bounces Back

I must admit I'm a wee bit late in posting this, but I haven't stopped playing it since I watched BET's 10th award ceremony !! I stayed up until 5am in the morning watching it, it would have been like 6.30am if I had watch the whole after party !! YES YOU'VE GUESSED... Chris Brown's brilliant Michael Jackson tribute. A lot of people been hating on him saying his crying was fake. Well I think his performance was beautiful, and him breaking down at the end was genuine. Everything he's been through in the last year, plus the death of his idol and the irony of the song ('Man In The Mirror') all hit him at once. Chris if you read this, I doubt you will, you've done your fans proud. Check out his amazing performance, if you haven't already. If you have watch it again, just enjoy :)
