The talented U.K. singer Jessie J is just simply taking the world by storm. After her huge hit 'Do It Like A Dude' smashed the charts and officially placed her on the map of stardom, she's back with something new. Her new track 'Price Tag' featuring rapper B.o.B. is a more meaningful track compared to her debut. The track talks about money not being everything and it's really cute and sassy. The concept of the video is totally BRILLIANT !! The video directed by Emil Nava has a real kids play vibe about it - which really echo's the innocence of the story she's telling in her self. MY VERDICT... I totally fell in love with this video, it' real sweet, and the track is a killer. I hope it goes #1. Check it out and enjoy :)

This has to be my track of the week. Though it is so 2010. I see it going places this year !! The catchy track titled 'Buzzin' featuring the man of the moment 50 Cent samples the 1986 track 'I Can't Wait' by Nu Shooz.  SO... you know it's got to be good - sampled tracks usually are !! WHY IS IT A TREAT...? It's something to really kick off your weekend. Aren't you glad it's Friday..? Enjoy :)

Lady Gaga: Blood & Semen Fragrance

It is alleged that Lady Gaga is to join the long line of celebs including Diddy, JLO, Gwen Stefani, Beyonce and the list could go on; of owning a fragrance. YUP... now that would be a hit as the Grammy Award winning star has a uber load of fans. ONE THING... the fragrance - and I'm not sure if this is a joke or not, is to smell of not going to smell of roses or peaches but blood and semen. ERRRMM... very different and very Gaga indeedy. Not that I'm saying that's what she smells of. Like hell I don't know what she smells like !! If this is true,  it sure a tad extravagant and totally of her character. How can we expect anything else from the star..? The fragrance to come is likely to be called 'Monster' and will be available in Spring 2012. I'm sure her 'little monsters' will buy it even if it does smell of blood and semen. MEANWHILE... look out for her upcoming album 'Born This Way' hitting us real soon.

Here Nicki Minaj is having hers, or at least a "royal celebration" as she told MTV News. She enjoys her special moment with fellow rapper Drake, a moment granted by her very own British fairy godmother !! YES... be prepared for her famous English accent, which to me sounds like a mixture of the Queens English and Australian. Well at least it has that entertainment factor !! Directed by Chris Robinson, who's worked with the likes of Alicia Keys, Jay-z and Nas works well with the concept of the song. ANYWAYS... check it out and enjoy her 'Moment 4 Life' :)

After successfully topping out UK charts and getting the world to whip their hair back and forth, she's back with some more dance moves. The youngster informed her fan base on Facebook about her next single:

"Hey people I am so excited for my next single!! Are you? It's a dance record. I know you love to dance, don't cha'......"

The track titled '21st Century Girl' is totally hip !! The video has been shot, so all we have to do is wait for what she has in store for us this time round. This week, marks the 1st year anniversary of my blog !! (WOOHOO !!) My blog turned 1 years old yesterday, and I'm so proud - though I didn't blog yesterday and I'm blogging only now. Better late than never hey..? I was hoping to have a slight change to the site this week, but it hasn't quite gone to plan. Nicki Minaj has been on a role this month. She's been shooting the video for 'Fly' with singer and fashionista Rihanna, and now the teaser vid for 'Moments 4 Life' has dropped. You go girl !! The video, featuring Drake seems to have a fairytale theme going on. From what I see it looks like a Cinderella story with her playing both Cinders and the fairy Godmother !! There are some close scenes with her and Drizzy and it seems as though they're a married couple. Remember Drizzy did say on his Thank Me Later album he would like to marry her one day !! Maybe the fairy GodBarbie has granted him that wish in this video. Check it out...

Recently I posted the Spring 2011 preview cover for V Magazine, with Nicki Minaj, gracing the covers. I chose my words carefully in that post and my words such as 'bold' and 'springful' I must say were perfectly chosen !! WHY SO... the shoot for the spread was most definitely those words, with the addition of tribal - as the rapper gets painted. Not the cliche metalic, or Avatar look, but something a wee bit different. I also said the cover had a sophisticated look as the Barbie look was dropped, but with the tribal like painting and the fashionable clothes, the shoot is fun. See more photo's and peep the alternative cover, when you read more...

Remember when Ja Rule sang 'We gon' clap back'..? Well Queen B aka Lil' Kim  is doing just that and believe me, she's on it like sonic !! NOW... I'm sure all of you that are following what I call 'The Barbie Beef' between Queen B and Harujuku Barbie - Nicki Minaj, and have heard Kim's 'Black Friday' diss (KIM WENT IN HARD ON THAT). Well she's back again with something fresh, a grower I'll say. A track decent for some radio play, to keep the buzz going for her upcoming mixtape with The International Rockstars (IRS). WHO..? I'm not entirely sure who IRS is but I'm guessing it's her new crew !! ANYWAY... the track featuring her crew it's simply a comeback hit, her very own big up track/ come back anthem.  Overall the track is pretty cool. It's not the super hard stuff she used to give us, and it's not epic like the 'Black Friday' diss. So I'm expecting people to say it's wack and spit all that jazz. The track also acts as an introduction to IRS with some of the members dropping a couple bars on the track. SIMPLY... well at least I'm hoping, as far as Kim's quality CAN go, this track is just the key in the ignition ready to be started. Check it out...

The rapper who apparently just stepped out from a mental rehab centre, has freshly got a coloured, three scoop ice cream in a cone, with his 'Brrr' phrase inked onto his right cheek. SORRY... likesto be harsh Gucci, but you may need to make a u-turn back to that centre. Well it's his face. All I can say is..BRRR !!

Jamaican Airport Named After James Bond Author

A new international airport has open in St. Mary, Jamaica for private jets and small aircrafts. Previously called Boscobel Aerodrome, the airport is now named after the late Ian Fleming, the author of James Bond who first visited Jamaica in 1942. According to his niece Lucy Fleming,

"He adored Jamaica and found so much inspiration and relaxation here." She adds,"Honestly, I don't think he would have written those (Bond) books without Jamaica."

Fleming's fifth novel, Dr. No that was written in 1958 and turned into a film in 1962 was partially set in Jamaica.

Cher Lloyd Lands In The States

X Factor runner up, Cher Lloyd as you must have heard has been signed by Jay-Z's . The singer/rapper has been to RocNation the home to successful artists such as Rihanna and Willow Smith. Over here in the UK the feelings about her are pretty much mixed, as I'd say she's like marmite !! You either love her or hate her. ME..? I'm somewhere in between. I liked her then she just began to grate on me with all the controversey that went on in the most recent X Factor. ANYWAY... Shocked by the turn out of paparazzi there to snap her on her arrival to the states, it looks as if they've welcomed her with openeed arms. Well let's see what becomes of this signing as she's there to meet with the RocNation execs !! She's also added a couple more tattoo's to her collection, taking her ink designs up to five. One of the tattoo's is 'all you have is your soul', the title of a Tracy Chapman song.
