New Video: Moment 4 Life

Moment 4 Life Video

Every Barbie must have a fairy tale wedding, it's just protocol and the way of life !! Here Nicki Minaj is having hers, or at least a "royal celebration" as she told MTV News. She enjoys her special moment with fellow rapper Drake, a moment granted by her very own British fairy godmother !! YES... be prepared for her famous English accent, which to me sounds like a mixture of the Queens English and Australian. Well at least it has that entertainment factor !! Directed by Chris Robinson, who's worked with the likes of Alicia Keys, Jay-z and Nas works well with the concept of the song. ANYWAYS... check it out and enjoy her 'Moment 4 Life' :)

CUTE !!

Sneak Peek: Nicki Minaj - Moments 4 Life

Teaser Vid: Moments 4 Life (ft. Drake)

Nicki Minaj has been on a role this month. She's been shooting the video for 'Fly' with singer and fashionista Rihanna, and now the teaser vid for 'Moments 4 Life' has dropped. You go girl !! The video, featuring Drake seems to have a fairytale theme going on. From what I see it looks like a Cinderella story with her playing both Cinders and the fairy Godmother !! There are some close scenes with her and Drizzy and it seems as though they're a married couple. Remember Drizzy did say on his Thank Me Later album he would like to marry her one day !! Maybe the fairy GodBarbie has granted him that wish in this video. Check it out...

LOOKS VERY INTERESTING !!

Lil' Kim: Clap Clap/Black Friday Trailer

Teaser Vid: Clap Clap/Black Friday

Seems like we're having a female rapper day today, so I'm keeping this real short and simple. Check out the trailer for Lil' Kim's latest single 'Clap Clap' featuring IRS. OH BY THE WAY... just in case you was wondering who that girl is standing next to Queen B, she's supposed to be a lookalike of, yup you guessed it Nicki Minaj !! She's apparently supposed to make an appearance in the video as part of the 'Black Friday' diss. Guess we'll have to see when the full video is released. For now check this short clip out...

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS IN FULL !!

Nicki Gets Painted

V Magazine: Nicki Shoot

Recently I posted the Spring 2011 preview cover for V Magazine, with Nicki Minaj, gracing the covers. I chose my words carefully in that post and my words such as 'bold' and 'springful' I must say were perfectly chosen !! WHY SO... the shoot for the spread was most definitely those words, with the addition of tribal - as the rapper gets painted. Not the cliche metalic, or Avatar look, but something a wee bit different. I also said the cover had a sophisticated look as the Barbie look was dropped, but with the tribal like painting and the fashionable clothes, the shoot is fun. See more photo's and peep the alternative cover, when you read more...

LOVING THE LEG PAINT !!

The black and white shots capture that sophistcation I was talking about. I like that. The photo with the dress, bar the face paint looks quite 60s-ish !!

Last but not least the alternate cover. I prefer the original, but this is totally Nicki. Like I said, 'bold' and now in addition to that, uber STRIKING & DARING !! What say you..?

CUTE & SASSY !!

Nicki Covers V

Spring Preview: V Magazine

See simple is sexier. Nicki Minaj graces the Sping Preview 2011 issue of V Magazine and she looks lovely. See me, I'm not all wrapped up in this Barbie shit at all. Fair enough it's her game, but when she has simple shoots like this I prefer it. Like I said simple is better. Also the red lippy looks much more sophisticated. Great call on the orange V it's bold like Nicki and very springful !! YES... I know 'springful isn't a word, but hey I'm  journalist so I allowed to invent them !! :D

GO NICKI GO !!

New Video: Trey Songz - Bottoms Up

Bottoms Up Video Is Here !!

The video for the club banger 'Bottoms Up' is now here !! The Trey Songz joint featuring Roman Zolanski. OH... just in case you don't know that's just Nicki Minaj's alter-ego !! The video was directed by one of my favourite directors of the moment - Anthony Mandler. IT'S CRAZY !! Of course there is the trademark event of Trigga getting up close and personal with the ladies, The Barbz doesn't fail to have a little wiggle her self. I'm not quite sure if I'm feeling her makeup with the trademark bob styled wig - this time blonde. I do love her 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' type voice during the song, and the effect to go with it is WKD !! DON'T MIND ME... just get on with watching the video, I know you ladies are gagging to see Trey !! Enjoy :)

BOTTOMS UP !! BOTTOMS UP!!

LOVIN' THE JAMAICAN VIBE !!

Nicki Names Her Debut...

Pink Friday !!

FINALLY...a name for Nicki Minaj's upcoming debut album. The highly anticpated album which is due to drop November 23rd - the Tuesday before Black Friday. You kow that day when the people of the US flock the shops before Christmas !! WHY I'M I TELLING YOU THIS...? It's all relevant, as the Barbz has decided to call her album Pink Friday. Check out why she called her album Pink Friday - in her British aristocratic accent with the help ph her fluffy monkey toys... (IT'S BARBIE, BITCH !!)

LOVE THE CUDDLY TOYS !!

Sneak Peek: Jay Sean - 2012

Jay Sean '2012' ft. Nicki Minaj

A couple of weeks ago I dropped a leak of an upcoming track from our very own Jay Sean called '2012'. See here to read that article. My initial reaction to it was 'decent' I also said it was gonna be a grower for me. WELL... it most definately has !! The version I dropped wasn't an official CDQ it was a radio rip and unfinished at that. The actual track features Nicki Minaj and a video has also been shot for it !! The track sounds so much better with the female rappers voice and it is much more upbeat with her swag on it. The video is looking real good too and should be with us real soon !! UK is moving and we're moving well y'all. Jay is so quirky, sweet and charismatic !! Check out his sneak preview to the video...

#TEAMUK !!

Nicki Minaj - Your Love

New Video: Your Love

I've been waiting for a video for this Nicki Minaj track for ages now, and here it is !! It finally premiered on MTV, and I love it. Directed by Hype Williams protégé Lil' X - the four minute video has a beautiful narrative. Nicki plays a samurai in training who falls in love with her trainer portrayed by actor Michael Jai White - you may be familiar with him in the films Why Did I Get Married. This video methinks isn't for the guys, you lot may find it a bit lovey dovey !! Lil' X did brilliantly on the directions, the theme is perfect. I mean Nicki is always going on about being a Barbie - a Harajuku one at that !! So she loves the whole Japanese style like myself - and that's just what this video echo's with the Geisha look and the martial arts right down to the ribbons. I loved the ending with the ribbon pool of blood, I was looking for the Shakespearean ending, but it wasn't mean to be !! I also noticed the video was quite Kill Bill esque !! ANYWAY... I won't spoil it for you anymore. Check out her new video from her Barbie World Mixtape.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO !!

P.S. Her debut album drops November 23rd and this track is supposed to be on it. However it has no title thus far, so I'll keep y'all posted. Hope you enjoyed, tell me what you thought :)

New Music: Trey Songz & Nicki Minaj

New Music: Bottoms Up !!

Two of the hottest artists in the game right now have teamed up with something called 'Bottoms Up'. They go by the names of Trey Songz and Nicki Minaj !! It's been floating around the web for some time now, and was premiered by the two via UStream last week. It will be the lead single of Trey's upcoming album Passion, Pleasure & Pain due for release Spetember 14th. The Kane Beatz produced track is set to be a club banger. Nicki's verse is neat, another cool feature from here!!  Have a listen...

14th SEPTEMBER. ARE YOU READY..?

Is That Nicki Minaj..?

The Old Nicki Minaj

SHE'S PHONY, SHE'S FAKE, SHE'S THE KINDA PEOPLE I HATE... sings the video, if you've seen it that shows Nicki Minaj's butt transition. Honestly, weather she has implants or not doesn't bother me the slightest. It's all about the music she makes. Right..? Well that's not the case for the haters out there. I SEE YOU !! behind every successful person is a pack oh haters. On their hateration like they're making money !! Real talks. So for y'all that still wonder about the Barbz swelling of certain body parts here's some rare, old photo's of Nicki. Way before she got signed to Young Money. The time when Rockafella and G-Unit turned her down with their doubts in female rappers. According to old friend Bowlegged Lou she used to rock with his son Lou$tar and was apart of his crew called 'The Hoodstars' - where she was groomed and learn the skills we know her to have now.

Lou goes on to say:

"I remember being at diner with Cbiz and him telling me about Nicki Minaj before Young Money and the implants, and this confirms it. I personally think Minaj should of put on Lou$tar on being that’s who she rocked with first in the beginning of her career. Sh*t even have him as a feature on her album. But you know that saying, Money changes people, well it does! Literally"

So true. So true. Sad she never kept them in mind. Maybe it's in her contract, or maybe money has changed her, other than the body boosts !! It's all love out her though !! Check out these old photo's...

Props to Bowlegged Lou, @CBizTheCEO & @LOUSTAR (and Neil Grant)

YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY!!

Nicki Minaj Covers Black Men

Nicki On Black Men !!

Around two weeks ago I posted a photo of Nicki Minaj that was likely to be the cover of US mens magazine - Black Men. Well here's the photo that made it. Nicki has these magazines on LOCK right about now !! This one is definately for the guys !!

YOU GO GIRL !!

New Video: Sean Garrett ft. Nicki Minaj

Sean Garrett: 'Get It All' ft. Nicki Minaj

Something new from Sean Garrett called 'Get It All'. The video set in a high school is really sweet, I think it should be on some kind of movie soundtrack. Featuring Nicki Minaj  and a cameo apparence from Tyga the song has that quirky summer vibe about it. Something to blaze in your car - roof down or at a BBQ rather than at a club. Nethertheless I LIKE IT !! Nicki's verse is catchy, as the whole song is and pretty much Nicki cliche, though she still sounds WKD !! She kind of goes into what I call her Slick Rick mode on this track. This video is for the guys, with all those 'college' girls walking around. Check it out !!

CUTE !!

New Video: Hello Good Morning Remix

Hello Good Morning REMIX

Like a month ago I posted the behind the scenes video for Dirty Money's remix video for 'Hello Good Morning' featuring a blue wigged Nicki Minaj !! The re-edited video with a bad lip sync still features Rick Ross, and lietrally uses the same footage from the previous video. Nicki's verse is WKD though, and of course she drops in her little impersonation of the late ODB's 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya'. For those that don't have a clue what I'm talking about, its when her voice goes real crazy, along with the faces in most her tracks or features !! Enough of my schooling, check out the remix video. REMEMBER... it's a bit of of sync !! Enjoy :)

THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT T.I.IN IT THOUGH !!

Nicki Covers Black Men Magazine

Nicki On Black Men Cover

The most talked about female rapper of the moment is getting those magazine deals like it's nothing. Rival and role model Lil' Kim must be real vexed about that, as they're in their little Barbie beef at the minute. This cover is for the guys out there, since it is covering the Black Men magazine. Also for all those Nicki fans out there - all the 'Barbz'. Also she is working on her upcoming debut album entitled Catch Me, with producer Swizz Beatz. Check out her hot cover...

GWAN NICKI !!

Nicki Graces Vibe Cover !!

Nicki On Vibe

Last week I posted the potential cover of VIBE's June/July issue, with the hottest Barbie in the rap game right about now, Nicki Minaj. The final finish has been release and it's totally different from the snaps from the shoot, that was though to grace the cover. Nethertheless the Barbz made it up front for this summers issue. There is actually a duel cover for this issue with Erykah Badu on the cover - so you have a choice !! To see the potential alternate cover, check on after this hot Nicki bar...

He the type to keep a couple hundred grand in a rubberband. Just left the money gram in the lemon lam...♫

BOTH LOOKIN' BADASS !!

New Music: Drake 'Up All Night' ft. Nicki Minaj

Drake: 'Up All Night' ft. Nicki Minaj

I haven't had any Drake posts this week, but before the week ends, heres something new from my boy Drizzy. The track entitled 'Up All Night' features his fellow Young Money star Nicki Minaj. The track can be found on his upcoming album, which is due for release June 15th. Talking of the album, it has completely leaked on to the net, and Drizzy being the sweet and lovely guy that he is tweeted:

BTW...Nicki goes 'ARD on this track, now this is the Nicki I like. Have a listen after the bar...

I'm on a diet but I'm doing donuts on a six speed...♫

Plus, I forgot to drop his track with Jay-Z that can also be found on the album leaked just over a week ago - entitled 'Light Up'. Enjoy...
